We are “hidden” in the beautiful, quiet, and peaceful woods of Wenonah, NJ. Established in 1957, the Wenonah Swimming Club was, like many southern New Jersey vacation spots, a weekend get-away for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the hustle and bustle has found its way into the suburbs over the past 50 years, it has not found our sanctuary, which remains largely unchanged since 1957. The Wenonah Swim Club is the perfect "get away." As you drive down the dead end road to our private entrance, you are transported back to the summers of your youth. Remember when summer was all about relaxing, being with family and friends, sun, swimming and fun? We have all that, and more. Stop reminiscing and come make some new memories. If you’d like your kids to have similar memories, come join us.
Our swim and dive teams compete regularly throughout the summer and provide a great atmosphere for not only the swimmers and divers, but for the parents, who also have a great time with numerous social events and get togethers. Swimming is one of the healthiest sports around and provides not only a great team experience, but a great way to keep in shape during the summer “off season.” The love of swimming developed at Wenonah will literally last a lifetime.
We have everything. Swimming, Diving, Tennis, Shuffleboard, Volleyball, Basketball, Horseshoes, Soccer, Wallball, and many more activities. We also have nothing…to do, if that’s what you’re looking for.
We’re quieter, more economical, more social, have more activities and amenities, and more convenient than either the shore or the backyard pool. Have any doubts or reservations? Ask anyone at the club…anyone.
